ALcot is a Japanese company that specializes in eroge visual novels. It was founded by the members of the doujin circle APPLE Project. Their first work was Clover Heart’s, which released for PC on November 28th, 2003. ALcot is strongly associated with the company ALcot Honey Comb, which also produces visual novels.
They have many notable releases other than Clover Day’s, such as My Girlfriend is the President and its fandisc, Onigokko and its fandisc, and Yomegami: My Sweet Goddess.
You can find all of these releases in English by JAST USA.
Clover Day’s is a visual novel by ALcot and their 10th anniversary project. The full version released in Japan on March 28th, 2014 and almost two years later, the digital version released.
On June 24th 2016, Clover Day’s released its remake version, now commonly known as Clover Day’s Plus. The main differences between both releases are the new graphics, new H-scenes and E-mote support, meaning Clover Day’s Plus has animated sprites and animated H-scenes.
Recently, on June 24th 2023, NekoNyan announced Clover Day’s Plus would be releasing on Steam. The release date is confirmed on Steam’s page, which is August 18th 2023 (or August 19th, depending on the timezone).
Before Clover Day’s Plus‘s announcement, NekoNyan has certainly struggled with the localization process. Originally, this game got banned on Steam due to its adult content, but after a few changes and resubmission, the game went back on Steam, thanks to the help of HIKARI FIELD, a visual novel publisher from China. They submitted a ban appeal and it ended up working, as we can clearly see.

Bottled-up emotions... An everlasting oath... Heartfelt desires... An enduring regret... And a childhood promise. Yuuto was abandoned by his parents and raised in an orphanage in Britain before a trading merchant by the name of Takakura Yoshiomi adopted him and brought him to Japan. He could barely speak the language, but he had the support and love of his two new sisters, the cheery yet shy Anzu, and the calm, collected Anri. During his time in elementary school, he also made new friends: the ingenuous and kind Tsubame, and the ostentatious but guarded Izumi. They were young and oblivious to love back then. They laughed together, cried together, and nurtured irreplaceable bonds with one another. Ten years later... The landscape of the town has changed, and so have they. Yet some things never do change, no matter how much time passes. "Do you still remember the promise we made that day?" Ten years ago, during their childhood, there was another pair of twins that they all played with. Hekiru and Hikaru reappear and the emotions that have since frozen in time are now rekindled. This marks the beginning of their resplendent time together, their "Clover Days." Steam
