After weeks of no visual novel translation thread we’re finally back. It was simply impossible to properly work while Hata was at his parents place and Zaka had some other more important things to attend to, so we went on hiatus for a bit. Hata returned back to his usual place just a week ago, so it became time to kick him into gear again, so you people can be informed about the newest visual novel releases and announcements. Thankfully the recent weeks were quite the weak ones. This week, however, shapes up to be better given that there’s now finally an official translation for Fate Stay/Night announced. What else is there that could be greater news? I don’t know!

Some more positive news, Fujoneko returned after a brief hiatus that was supposed to be longer, but I guess Fuwanovel is a more enticing pastime than reading Umineko. Either way, Fujo made this weeks thumbnail and will also contribute to our social media thumbnails across Facebook/Instagram. But we tell you more about it when it’s time.

「Sometimes you gotta know when to fold ’em. More specifically, we should probably know when to publish without commentary rather than not publish at all. The truth is that the last two weeks did have what I like to call a “shell” — a post without commentary but otherwise fully formed — but neither me nor Hata really felt like writing that commentary to complete it. Why did this happen? I think both me and Hata are motivated by each other, and both Hata and I have been pretty dead recently. Personally I’ve both gotten reductions in available shit-giving due to actually attending some university lectures, a tooth problem that’s still somewhat ongoing (maybe only truly fixable in almost 2 months! — I’m still undecided if I should complain about pain through my provisional fix number 2 after the first broke; it’s very annoying to get emergency times booked as you have to call at 8 in the morning), and lately, absolutely degenerate gaming in the form of Palworld. Hata’s been staying at his parents’ with a scuffed setup. He’s also been reading English books though, which is very based and I approve of greatly. Circling back to to my circumstances, I find it amusing how euphemistically Hata describes my situation. This happens a lot: people seem to assume I’m busy when I’m just fucking around. I mean, I guess I’m 10% more busy than I was, but shit, man. I predict this is actually going to be a great trait in my professional life if it carries over. Well, if people actually believe that stuff as it is.

This vntls constantly goes back and forth between being utterly dead and just barely alive. It’s not a recent thing, either. It was like this when Tay was doing them. I think the only time this consistent was when you were doing them before Tay and Decay, Zaka (for 2-3 years, I think).
I remember Decay assuring me that he knows Tay and he isn’t someone to just disappear without saying anything. That was funny.
Btw, I’m definitely in favor of vntls without commentary instead of no vntls at all. No offense guys, but I prefer littleshogun’s vntls instead of yours. Well, yours is more high quality and informative, with additions on the list and commentary that the original doesn’t have, but he always delivered without missing even a single week, at the same time over the years. That’s dedication and consistency.

I hope VenusBlood Ragnarok localization(since i don’t expect an ACTUAL translation) won’t suck as much ass as VenusBlood Gaia. The other two were not perfect, but were good enough for a tentacle hentai game and didn’t rewrite entire textboxes AS OFTEN.
