On November 30th Riya, the vocalist of eufonius, shared the news of his passing. Kikuchi died on November 16th at age 44 from an acute heart failure.
Kikuchi was born in Sapporo in the Hokkaido prefecture on February 24th 1979. After graduating from college, he started working as a music arranger in 2003. In the same year, he and riya met on the internet and formed eufonius.
As part of eufonius, Kikuchi composed songs for many popular VN and anime series, including (but not limited to) Clannad, Futakoi, Himawari! and Noein.
