At the beginning of October, two-man studio Cozy Bunny (Raffle & Nia) launched their kickstarter for Mana Quest, a monster girl hentai RPG. They were aiming for an initial funding of $13.906. By the time of writing, the Kickstarter could already more than almost quadruple that goal ($52.388) and still keeps growing towards its final full voice acting stretch goal – going into the last day of the campaign. The game will release in Early Access and free-to-play title on Steam and Itch.
Mana Quest features standard RPG maker gameplay, city exploration, farming, shop management, monster girl collecting – they describe it as inspired by games like Recettear and Stardew Valley. Of course, there’s also adult content included, after all you’re building your own harem. Narrative scenes and H-content are displayed in an ADV textbox style. It will only support the English language for now.

- Diverse character bust system – with many emotions and different poses to make everyone feel way more expressive.
- Streamlined menus – Nearly all info is in-map or on screen, including the in-game inventory window.

- Mana farming – gather Mana essences that help you craft and sell things. Comes with seasons and a weather system.
- Crafting grid system – a 3×3 grid where you can place ingredients to make items, similar to Minecraft.
- Monster girl management – Leveling up your farming skills will help you collect monster girls that live in your farm. You will need to take care of them.
- Shop system – You can sell things at your shop and haggle with customers for the best deal, as well as other features like special orders, picking up specific items, etc. You will also be able to expand your shop, customize it and hire workers to help you out.
- World-hopping exploration – You will be able to travel to other worlds via the adventurer’s guild. All with different aesthetics, enemies, bosses, monster girls, etc.
- Turn management combat system – No other gauges to take care of besides health and turn points. All skills/actions require a certain amount of turn points in order to be used. Both players and enemies can use order altering skills to mess things around. It’s all about strategizing what to do with your turns! No menu browsing either. You just click on the action you want to do and then on the enemy/party member.
- Camp system – During world-hopping you can set up camp at specific spots, these will be the only safe spots while world-hopping, you will be able to talk with party members, save the game and among other things.
- Professions & skills – Each party member will be able to do different actions during world-hopping, for example Alna can pick up heavy objects and mine for resources.
- Poki – A dice minigame that will help you make some money on the side.
- Configurable controls – You can use keyboard & mouse or you can almost fully play it with just your mouse as well.
The developer states that in Mana Quest almost every character has their sex scenes. There are a lot of different body types and races to explore (from humanoids over anthro characters to actual monster-like creatures). All of the ero scenes will have between 8 to 12 variations together with immersive dialogue, narration, and actions. The Kickstarter stretch goal for the fully animated H-scenes has also been reached by now.
