Today, on the 24th October 2023, the VTuber, Gamer and ASMR Content Creator Nene Amano has closed out her fully live recorded playthrough of 07th Expansion’s Umineko no Naku Koro ni, one of the longest visual novels known to mankind.
Her journey started on the 24.02.2022, so pretty much exactly 1 year and 8 months of consistent Umineko goodness. The playlist consists of 82 multiple-hour long videos. Her introduction post on the Umineko Reddit you can find here.
Nene Amano voices acts most of the dialogue, so it makes for a really enjoyable time.
About Umineko
Umineko no Naku Koro ni takes place in 1986 on October 4 and 5 on a secluded island called Rokkenjima (六軒島). The head of a wealthy family named Ushiromiya Kinzou, who lives on and owns Rokkenjima, is near death, and eleven of his family members arrive on the island to discuss how Kinzou’s assets will be divided once he is dead. Also on the island are five of Kinzou’s servants and his physician. After the eleven family members arrive, a typhoon traps them on the island and shortly after, people get mysteriously murdered.
