All of the first-phase Sable’s Grimoire games are now available for console.
As their first year together at Amadronia Academy comes to an end, Lisha and Sable make plans to spend their upcoming break together in her home. An elven village far away from their noisy classmates, where they can enjoy the break in peace, and be alone together at last. What awaits them at their destination, however, is not the holiday they had planned. Their time away is soon spoiled by news of recent kidnappings and graves being robbed. To make matters worse, these crimes are alleged to have been committed by a dark elf. Keen to investigate these incidents, Sable and Lisha move from town to town as they encounter one shocking revelation after another: mind control, forbidden magic, a human town where magic is the norm, and another side to her father's past which Lisha knew nothing about. With all of the chaos going on around them, is a tender moment between man and elf too much to wish for?
The main game, Sable’s Grimoire, was released in 2018, first for PC.
Then, in 2020, followed two sequels: A Dragon’s Treasure and Man and Elf.
In 2021 the console port of the main game was released, followed by the first sequel in early 2023 and now the second one, for console.
The main game got some updates from 2018 to 2022, which added a lot of new things to the game and set the setting for Sable’s Grimoire 2, which is still in development and planned for 2024. The same goes for continuing the story of the sequels that are planned for 2025 and 2026.
All three games are avaliable for android to play as well.
As the main game is an all-ages title, the two sequels have a +18 patch (only compatible with the PC release) for the Steam releases that you can get for free on the official website. The itchio versions have the patch already included.
You can find all Sable’s Grimoire games in the JAST Store as well (+18 patch included).
