Everybody who’s reading this article has smelled at least once in their lives, but imagine if you were relentlessly bullied by a stench that you couldn’t get rid of no matter how much you showered. That’s what the recently localized 2014 Miel nukige “Mommy Sensei: Horny Homework” happens to be about.
“Inshuu ni Kuruu Gonin no Hitozuma Kyoushi ~Pheromone Kyokon de Gyakushuu! Kuppuku kara Mesu Jukujo Tanezuke Harem e~” or, as it was localized by Cherry Kiss Games, “Mommy Sensei: Horny Homework” is a short nukige about a boy who, after being bullied relentlessly for his stench, is given pills that accentuate his stench and violates the teachers who bullied him into submission.
The game follows a linear structure and includes some pee – like all Miel titles – along with some other more interesting fetishes along the way. Most of it is obviously focused on revenge and odd smells for those into this kind of stuff. The game features a plethora of CG, all of which are contained to the H-scenes.
The game’s rather pretty art was handled by the once prolific Momiji-K who went from a director at Guilty+ to being a low brow nukige artist. Momiji has worked with pretty much most of the big name nukige companies like Miel, Appetite, and ANIM.
On the other hand, the strange yet albeit at times pretty decent writing was handled by Jirou Hashino. Jirou was mainly a nukige writer that jumped between a multitude of companies like BLUE GALE and Ame no Murakumo.
There’s enough twists and intrigue with each of the slightly fleshed out characters to keep you interested in what’s to come next, something that I think many modern Miel games do not have.
There’s also mouth movement for the sprites as they speak.
In general, I think this is just a well-rounded nukige. It’s stupid enough to where it’s funny in an enjoyable way along with being decent fap material.
Unfortunately, as do most nukige, Mommy Sensei struggles with how short the game is, being only a couple hours long at most, and which doesn’t allow for any of the characters to have much meaningful development. Perhaps the most egregious example of this is the gym teacher Kiyomi Ooi, whose big character arc is just finding out she has a fetish.
Nonetheless, I’d say it’s worth it for anybody trying to play a quickie, even if it’s just for the actually somewhat decent plot twist towards the end.
All in all, I enjoyed playing it. I wouldn’t say by any means that it’s a masterpiece or even a great title for nukige standards but it’s enjoyable.
