Frontwing International Announces Fandisc for Azarashi Soft’s Aikagi: Aikagi ~After Days~

On the 16th of June, the English public account of Japanese publisher Frontwing announced that they’re planning to release the fandisc for their previously released Azarashi Soft romance title, Aikagi. The fandisc is called Aikagi ~After Days~ and was created to expand on the short and sweet romance that was blossoming in the original game. A release is planned on Steam, with the store page already being available, but a release date hasn’t been determined.

Aikagi is one of the sweet 1-on-1 romance kinetic novel titles that Azarashi Soft is known for. So far, there are three volumes as well as this fandisc. The other numbered Aikagi titles are merely games in the same series and don’t share characters and story. Instead, there is the Aikagi ~After Days~ fandisc to expand on the story of the first Aikagi. While the original released in Japan on January 27th 2017, the fandisc followed public demand just a year later on January 26th 2018. Three years later, there followed a bundled release as Aikagi – Kimi to Issho ni. At the start of this year followed the Aikagi COMPLETE BOX, containing all the Aikagi titles and the fandisc.

The first localization by Frontwing happened on the 18th of November 2021, pairing with an international Steam release. Unfortunately, the game had to be purified of everything sexual and Frontwing was forced to release the game with several content cuts as AIKAGI – Censored Edition. However, the censored content can be unlocked with a free patch available on their website. The mosaic censorship cannot be removed, however.

Story

It’s highly recommended to actually have played Aikagi before going into the fandisc, since these stories are connected.
The stories are as follows:

Aikagi

During the last winter of his student days, Sunohara Nozomu finds himself at his wits’ end. His parents told him to move out on his own to learn how to become more independent, but he’s having trouble finding a place that feels like home, not to mention he’s never even cooked for himself!

That’s when his childhood friend, Takanashi Shiori, gives the conflicted Nozomu a shocking request.

“Um… W-Won’t you come and live with me!?”

At first Nozomu isn’t sure if living with someone will really help him become “independent,” but Shiori convinces his parents to let him live with her, and before he can give it much thought, everything has been arranged. They agree to live together for one month so that Nozomu can learn the ropes of living alone.

Aikagi ~After Days~

On Christmas Day, Sunohara Nozomu confessed his love to his childhood friend Takanashi Shiori, and the two started going out. After spending winter together and passing the entrance exams, they started going to the same college together come spring. Now, their first summer as a couple awaits them. Although they’ve known each other since childhood, they’ve never played together during summer vacation before.
“Let’s make a proper plan for summer, so we can make the most of it!”
Nozomu suggested, and Shiori smiled.
“It’ll be our first summer vacation together, after all… “
Two whole months of vacation… that the two of them can spend together! Imagine Shiori in her airy summer clothing, or in a swimsuit… Every season reveals new, exciting aspects of the beautiful girl, making Nozomu’s heart pound in his chest.

“This summer is going to be so much fun!”
The best summer of their youth is about to begin!
