Good morning, fellow VNTS-Fans. Hata here. This week was really tough on us since there had been a lot of changes going on among the staff. Maybe we’ll announce them, but for now it’s just something we’ve been brooding over solutions for. Anyways, this week looks like nothing, but some things happened that are just batshit crazy – like who would’ve expected that someone could leak the permastalled Aiyoku no Eustia fan translation? Other than that someone started up a Shizuku TL out of nowhere and some more things happened. It’s not a dead week, I would say. Zaka’s mileage may vary.

No funny bits this week, because this is serious business. While this VNTS isn’t as overloaded with NINE releases like last week’s was, it still offers quite a bit to talk about:
Let’s get started with the leak for Aiyoku no Eustia, one of the cursed August games that will unlikely see an official release. With Aiyoku no Eustia being leaked this now makes it the second or even the third time that a fan translation for titles of this company leaks.
The version that’s being leaked is one where TLC (Translation Checking) hasn’t been done all the way through, so some bits and pieces of it still read badly. Aiyoku no Eustia, however, is a really long anticipated game, so we can’t blame people for hopping onto this leak as they’ve been blueballed for more than half a decade! We didn’t cover this leak with an article on Fuwa since keeping our integrity forbid us from covering unverified leaks, but at this point it has gotten verified by the team lead and it’s now publically listed everywhere (VNDB, multiple news sites, Twitter, VNTS…) –so I consider it safe talking about. We haven’t tested the leaked version of AnE, but one of its QCs, SuperAnge, confirmed it to be real and readable on Twitter.
Next, there’s more progress with Akatsuki no Goei ~Tsumibukaki Shuumatsuron~ which is now at 67.8%. Aside from that (and what’s even cooler) DayBreak TL people have a podcast format on YouTube. For the ninth episode that recently released, they invited Tauros and M.R. from the VNTure Podcast as guests. Quite interesting and you should check it out!
A fan translation for Mama! Tsuma? was silently announced via a post on the Loli fan forum “AllTheFallen”. The translator is a guy named Roftastic and he created the VNDB edit for this project on the 7th Nov., but no one caught onto till now because ATF is a closed-off community you need to sign up for. On the 21st November, an update followed, stating that 86% of the script was already translated. Can only be a matter of time until it releases, maybe still this year? But I’m not gonna sign up to a loli forum to check, others can do that. The discourse around loli is way too poisoned these days.
We have some fans of the visual novel classics on our server, so there have been several times where fans of Shizuku, one of the original three “Visual Novel” advertised adventure games by Leaf, appeared to ask or even start their own fan translation projects. Now someone actually stepped up to the task and launched one that seems promising. For some reason they’d forgone the remake versions and went for translating the vintage version which has worse body proportions, but better engine and text display. If you’re interested in what Shizuku brings to the table, Amelie Dorée made a video about it this year. Trying to get the newer versions to run on a modern PC seems to be an ordeal, so I’m happy if this version makes this easier! Otherwise, virtual machine clears.
On the official side, we’re finally getting some more release dates with Sekai Project announcing the third part of the Seiiki-Series “My Academy’s Special Place” for the 15th of December and Animal Trail Girlish Square 2 for the 18th. I’m personally just interested in Happy Saint Sheol and the Feng games they still have to release multiple of – but those may take a while to come to fruition. Ah, and Nie no Hakoniwa!
KimiNozo’s Kickstarter was actually successful and now they’re going towards Stretch goals, one of which being the re-release of one of the Fandiscs that got recently fan translated. There’s no official localization announced for these, though.
Shiravune will simul-release a new Debonosu game on the 26th January with Kagura Genesis: Kuon’s Story, probably not Kuon from Utawarerumono, haha! Not sure about these games, honestly. As for their older titles, here’s dozens of them in the series and they’re mostly reskins with the same gameplay mechanics. I’m not interested, but the promo CG they presented is pretty!
They also announced a new Liquid title localization. It’s Holy Maid Academy, obviously a neutered name because the Japanese name is Holy Slave Academy (Sei Dorei Gakuen). I like Liquid games, but this is something that our Tokimime will enjoy a lot. There’s also a H-OVA for this iirc? There’s not?!
Fruitbat Factory released the final part of MAMIYA with MAMIYA -DoomsDay Dreams. We actually planned to do a giveaway around this game, but didn’t set up the infrastructure yet. It’ll happen soon~
This is really worth playing btw, but if you seek romance in here, you’re fatally wrong. Only good plot.
Craftwork’s Geminism was announced as a simultaneous release with multiple languages, but the game that released only contains Japanese. Not sure what happened with the English version, there’s no publisher attached to this game either. I sure hope it’s a good one like Frontwing or JAST…

I feel complicated in regard of Eustia seeing that it’s not marked as complete on VNDB, although turned out the translator still want to put his effort on the translation even with majority are probably okay with the leaked patch, so no much to say other than good luck to finishing up the remaining work. Other than Eustia leak, which to say good to be happen because people are already impatient ever since Taka-jun teased it with trial translation patch before forced to work 13 hours a day, honestly no much to speak here so that’s all for what I can say more about Eustia.
