I’m not sure whether the F/HA takeover in validation was last week or this one, but it’s interesting either way. Seems to be going pretty fast, and they’ve said themselves that they don’t have any grand ambitions. Still, actual validation is nice.

The sudden reversal on Killer Queen is unexpected and well, pretty strange overall. Not that I’m displeased with the two-patch result. They’re probably releasing soon, but I think QC said they’d be doing three passes so I guess that takes some time. After the somewhat (but not horribly) excessive typos and general misses in the I/O translation this is understandable.

The Air “technical work” is probably the final stage (though their blog doesn’t actually say it’s past QC. That said, it’s been 7 days since the last update there, so I don’t know.) Said final stage involves “integrating the patch with the game ISO” and I’m not exactly sure what that means. Might be one of those things where you mont the ISO, run the custom installer and it does the rest.

They also mention adding a switch (well, programs to run…) so you can turn the h-scenes on and off as you desire (I imagine it will default to on.)

Maybe I’ll actually read that Cartagra demo for once, it looks interesting. Ah, shattering my personal no-reading-partials policy step by step…
