This classic-style mystery adventure game, inspired by the Famicom Detective Club series and illustrated by Famitsu’s legend Kiyokazu Arai, will take you on a suspenseful journey through the beautiful landscapes of Ise-Shima.

Retro Mystery Club is a series developed by Flyhigh Works, a Japanese publishing company focused in publishing and porting the best of the indie gaming scene to the Nintendo Switch. They are also working on PlayStation 4 and PC projects. You can check their website for other releases.

This series is a triology, originally released at the beginning of 2019. The sequel and second title in the series is Akita Oga Mystery Annai Kogoeru Gin Reika, followed by Ooita Beppu Mystery Annai Yuganda Take Tourou.

It was highly inspired by the classic Famicom Detective Club series, and even features 8bit-pixel art by Famitsu’s long-time trademark artist Kiyokazu Arai.

Embark on a journey unlike any other as you play as a detective tasked with solving the case of a missing pearl. Explore the traditional villages and stunning landscapes of Ise Shima as you gather evidence, interview suspects, and solve puzzles to uncover the truth.

Unravel the mystery of a murder in Tokyo and the mysterious black pearl known as the Indigo Moon. Explore and investigate key locations, gather clues and make choices, as you work to solve the case with your partner Ken. With 9 episodes and an epilogue included in the "cartridge", you'll be fully immersed in the story.
