This year’s Yaoi Game Jam has started and has been running since June 15th. The Yaoi Game Jam is a two month long jam running from June 15th to August 21st (AEST), dedicated to making games featuring male-identified characters in queer relationships. The hosts are WitPOP, Two and a Half Studios (known for The Divine Speaker) and fablegrimoire.
The Yaoi Game Jam is a yearly event celebrating queer relationships between male-identified characters in all configurations imaginable. Each edition attracts both newcomers and experienced developers, coming to share their works of various sizes and states of completion. While it’s not exclusive to visual novels, they have always dominated the event.
The past editions featured games such as Is it Wrong to Want to be Locked Up, Toyed With, and Tortured By a Hot Guy?!, Just Kiss Him Already!, Deep in the Forest, and My Burning Heart.
