Project: Eden’s Garden Demo Released

Written by Grayest

According to the creators, Project: Eden’s Garden is a Free-to-Play visual novel game inspired by Danganronpa. Taking the formula of a murder-mystery visual novel video game, and applying it to an entirely new world, with new characters and stories to tell. The developers aim to capture the magic of Danganronpa and other VNs that inspired it but with its own identity and charm.

As of December 16th 2022, the developers released a demo titled Chapter 0: Vows woven by stitches and needles. It is currently available through Itch.io and Gamejolt.

The demo features many of the same mechanics as Danganronpa, and has already gained a solid amount of traction. The project’s announcement trailer garnered over 1 million views, and its Twitter account recently hit over 20k followers. Notable Youtubers such as Bijuu Mike and JohneAwesome have made Lets Plays of the newly released demo. The story revolves around Damon Maitsu, who finds himself in a killing game with 15 other students at Eden’s Garden Academy. He’ll have not only to survive with his classmates, but find out the dark secrets of the academy.
