Flying Pantsu’s guide to installing the patch: This patch comes in the form of a self-extracting archive. Simply double click the executable file and extract into your Koiken Otome folder (where 恋剣乙女.exe is located). This is only for those who have either the vanilla game or the prologue patch already.
- You MUST set your system to Japanese locale on all operating system versions ( Windows 7+) or the text will fail to display properly.
- We recommend running the VN in Windowed mode at the default resolution.
- We also recommend using the default “Text” and “Font” settings in-game.
Game Summary: A long time ago, unknown beings known as Kotona invaded Earth in search of food. Humans were unable to repel them until after a few years, some people gained special abilities known as ‘douryoku’ which allowed them to exterminate the Kotona and return peace to the world.
Now, Seiichi attends the super-elite Kashinomori Academy which trains people with douryoku in preparation for another attack by the Kotona. However, even though he has great power, he doesn’t have the ability to manifest it, leading to him being labelled as ‘most useless one’. The rest of the students in his class all had great skill, but in particular one girl caught his attention. Akane had average powers even though she came from a distinguished family, so she trained hard daily to improve her skills. Watching her, he can’t help but want to help her and that was when his ‘Amplifier’ ability awakened. It is an unidentified power which greatly boosts the abilities of people who believe in one another. As a result, he was greatly sought after not only in the school, but in the world.
