Well, ready or not, it’s time for another VNTS post. Zaka is gone away (never to return?) but I’ve got commentary below. Hold on to your hats, people: much craziness has happened since the last post. This one’s a doozy. Please be aware: due to RL constraints, this update is focused on fan TL updates. Commercial news will be updated this coming week/next VNTS, and you can read Decay’s AX announcements wrap-up here.
Anyway! Welcome to our weekly VNTS (Visual Novel Translation Status) series, in which we track visual novel translation updates in-house (we don’t rely on /jp/ posts on 4ch, for example) and post it for your enlightenment and enjoyment each Saturday. If you find any errors, or you think a project is missing from this list, please let me know in the comments. There is commentary by myself and Zaka at the end of the post. Any new updates are marked by orange text.

- 12Riven & big Lemnisca News – The Lemnisca team is collaborating with Regista, Yeti, and Sekai Project to officially release Root Double- Before Crime * After Days- Xtend Edition. As part of the deal, they have taken down all of their patches. “However, we cannot say anything at this point about what will become of our translations. We hope for your understanding during this transition.” Read the full post here.
- Amairo Islenauts – Site is down again. Sent the team an offer of support. Hope everything’s ok.
- AstralAir – Up another 3% to a total of 18,609/63,940 (29.10%).
- Ayakashi Gohan! – Ayakashi common route is 100% TL’d, several routes bumped, too.
- Daitoshokan no Hitsujikai: Dropped (link). Will be removed from the list next week.
- Denwatls – A lot of surprises hit in their July 5th post (link).
“DSP#2 is AliveZ, an AliceSoft visual novel without gameplay from the mid 2000s. And though we’ve reached ~94% TL at the time of this writing, out of respect for MangaGamer’s new deal we will be halting our work on AliveZ and switching to DSP#3 (A non-AliceSoft title). It’s a decision tinged with joy and sorrow, official AliceSoft releases have been desired for quite some time, and even if our work is shuttered we’re excited for those who have made this deal happen and hope to see it succeed.”

- Muv-Luv Stuff – The folks over at Alternative Projects (who are super nice, btw) have three really good posts you need to read. They’re not all VN-related, but if you’re a fan of the series/team you’ll appreciate them:
1. Another chapter of Schwarzesmarken Light Novel released; 2. During the AX 2015 event held in LA, Ixtl and Degica announced that they will be opening a kick-starter to bring Muv-Luv to the West in English (AP post). They’re looking for help/information, so please check out the post for ways to help out. 3. Thanks to Albedo and Evan taking up the project, AP is now also doing translations for Total Eclipse (VNDB) (Link to announcement post). There’s a lot more in that post, too, so be sure to check it out.

TAYsteful™ Thoughts
Hey everyone, my life is super-crazy-busy this week and so my chief priority was getting out all the insane news from fan TLers this week. Decay wrote a really good recap of AX announcements (read it here), and next week I’ll go through and give everyone an update on the commercial projects. (A bunch of OELVN devs I’ve worked with have been picked up by larger publishers, so congrats to them and I promise to get you on the list soon ; P).
