Still another 5 months to go until Dracu-riot!‘s release and the game is already ranking #4 in total preorders at BOTH Sofmap Amusement and Sofmap store no.1 (it was top rank for a while in early Nov.).
So why all the fuss?
Well… I would say it’s probably because it’s a Yuzusoft game.
Yuzusoft have great drawings, heroines that are attractive and likeable. If you have never played a Yuzusoft game, I would recommend trying out Noble Works (just for the common route) or Tenshin Ranman (Particularly Sana and Hime route). The pacing is not dragged and the banters are always a lot of fun. This is baka-ge set on cruise control!
Introduction
六連佑斗 (the protagonist) is taken along by his friend to Aqua Eden, a special island city (to find some hookers). During their visit
佑斗 by chance tries to prevent a kidnapping but… somehow he got turned into a vampire instead!
And so he starts attending a vampires only school. Interestingly because the perceptions of vampires are different from those of human beings, he found several girls who were irresistibly attractive to him, in a sexual way, for some random reason…
And so begins 佑斗’s new life of ero-happenings!

If you can afford a place to hang it, pick up the January issue of Dengeki Hime and get Dracu-riot tapestry for free! This tapestry is huge! For 2,000 yen this is a steal. I recommend HLJ.com because they ship adult content internationally. [Yuzu blog]- Yuzu-live radio have begun! Sessions are scheduled once every Friday 21:30 Tokyo time.
- Getchu.com are handing out store-exclusive dakimakuras for the limited edition of Dracu-Riot!. I don’t think Sofmap can top this one.

… although there isn’t an issue with an art, the characters in their more recent games seriously give palette swap vibes of previous games they’ve done. Like seriously.
Don’t forget Natsuzora Kanata.
I’m guessing that Sofmap will either be bedsheet + pencil board + CD, or double tapestries + CD (in addition to the regular pre-order bonuses). In terms of sheer quantity of goods, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a case where Sofmap isn’t tops for eroge. Of course, whether you like the characters/poses/whatever is a different story. Getchu’s focus tends to be dakimakura, where Sofmap is bedsheets or tapestries. Gamers, incidentally, is “naked ribbon” (tapestry or telecard). ^^; Each of the main chains has their own dominant style.
In either case, this game is obviously a must-buy for me.
The Dracu-riot craze got to me as well; I ordered a Dengeki Hime for the first time.
